A deep chemical peel uses trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and phenol to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, triggering controlled injury that stimulates collagen production and skin regeneration. As the damaged skin sheds, it is replaced with new, healthier skin, improving wrinkles, scars, pigmentation, and overall texture. This process requires about two weeks of recovery with strict sun avoidance for optimal healing and results. ​
